Description

Perfectly juicy and tender chicken breast with a golden crispy exterior, cooked to perfection in the air fryer with simple seasonings in just 15 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 8 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat chicken breasts completely dry with paper towels and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3-5 minutes.
  3. 3. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of chicken breasts and massage evenly across the surface.
  4. 4. Mix garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
  5. 5. Sprinkle seasoning mixture generously over both sides of chicken, patting it gently into the meat.
  6. 6. Place seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, leaving at least 1 inch of space between pieces.
  7. 7. Cook at 375°F for 6-7 minutes, then flip chicken breasts.
  8. 8. Continue cooking for another 6-8 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  9. 9. Remove chicken from air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  10. 10. Serve immediately or store in airtight containers for meal prep.

Notes

Store cooked chicken in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes. For extra juicy results, brine chicken in saltwater for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Adjust cooking time based on thickness of chicken breasts.
