Peels from 2–3 organic apples
3 cups water
1 tsp fresh ginger or powder
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
Instructions
Wash apple peels thoroughly.
Boil 3 cups of water in a pot.
Add apple peels, ginger, and cinnamon stick.
Lower heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
Remove from heat, strain into mug.
Stir in lemon juice and optional honey.
Serve warm or chilled.
