Description
Tender, juicy chicken breasts baked with a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze that caramelizes to golden perfection. Ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined and smooth.
- 3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish, leaving space between each piece.
- 4. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken, using a brush or spoon to coat each piece evenly on all sides.
- 5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, basting with pan juices halfway through cooking.
- 6. For extra caramelization, broil for 2 to 3 minutes at the end, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- 7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently with a splash of water to maintain moisture. Chicken can be frozen for up to 3 months. Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh garden salad.
