Description

Delightful Banana Pudding Easter Truffles that combine creamy banana pudding with a rich chocolate coating, perfect for festive celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of crushed vanilla wafers
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup of instant banana pudding mix
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 12 oz chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white chocolate)
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (optional, for dipping)
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by mixing the crushed vanilla wafers, mashed bananas, banana pudding mix, and milk in a large bowl. Stir the ingredients until well combined.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar into the bowl. Mix everything together until you have a smooth, creamy mixture.
  3. Incorporate the vanilla extract into the mixture, stirring until fully combined.
  4. Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Once you’ve formed all the truffles, refrigerate them for at least 2 hours.
  6. After the truffles have set, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring in between.
  7. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they’re fully covered.
  8. If desired, sprinkle the truffles with festive sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  9. Once all the truffles are coated, return them to the refrigerator to let the chocolate harden.
