Blueberry Cream Cheese Croissant Casserole

Description

A sweet and cozy breakfast casserole with buttery croissants, creamy cream cheese, and juicy blueberries. Perfect for weekends or make-ahead meals.


Ingredients

  • 6 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 6 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, for greasing
  • Powdered sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Tear croissants and place in a greased 9×13-inch dish.
  2. Beat eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in cream cheese and half the blueberries, then pour over croissants. Press lightly to soak.
  3. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until golden. Cool slightly.
  4. Sprinkle remaining blueberries and optional powdered sugar before serving. Serve warm.
