- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
- Lemon zest (optional, for extra zing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut into 4×4 inch squares.
- Combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
- Add the fresh blueberries into the cream cheese mixture gently.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese and blueberry mix into each pastry square’s center.
- Fold the corners of the pastry square over the filling and pinch seams to seal.
- Arrange pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Dust with powdered sugar and optional lemon zest before serving.
Notes
