A cheesy, easy, and family-friendly pasta bake featuring bowtie pasta, ricotta, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

- 12 oz bowtie pasta, cooked al dente
- 15 oz ricotta cheese, part-skim or whole milk
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh basil or parsley, chopped
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Boil bowtie pasta until al dente, drain, and toss with olive oil. Heat marinara sauce with garlic and red pepper flakes.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer half of the pasta, half the ricotta, and half the mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat layers and finish with sauce and remaining cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest 5 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
Notes
- Can be made vegetarian by skipping meat or adding vegetables.
- Freezes well for up to 2–3 months.
