- 1 medium head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Optional protein: tofu, chicken, or beef, cut into bite-size pieces
- Optional topping: sesame seeds, sliced green onions, or chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Begin by washing and slicing the cabbage into thin strips.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stir for about 30 seconds.
- Toss in the sliced cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot, stirring for 5-7 minutes.
- Drizzle in the soy sauce and sesame oil during the last minute of cooking.
- Once everything is nicely combined, remove from heat and serve immediately.
