Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • Optional: ¼ cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Once the butter melts, toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese bit by bit until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  6. If desired, fold in the diced tomatoes for added flavor.
  7. Once it reaches your desired consistency, remove from heat and serve.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use nutritional yeast in place of Parmesan.
