Description

A rich, creamy Alfredo sauce infused with bold Cajun spices, perfect for pasta, chicken, or seafood dishes. Ready in just 15 minutes with restaurant-quality results.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 60 seconds until fragrant.
  2. 2. Pour in heavy cream and add softened cream cheese. Whisk constantly until cream cheese is completely melted and incorporated.
  3. 3. Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4. Gradually add freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly in a figure-eight motion until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
  5. 5. Let sauce simmer for 2-3 more minutes until it thickens to your desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley. Serve immediately over pasta or your choice of protein.

Notes

Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat gently over low heat, adding a splash of cream to restore consistency. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Adjust cayenne pepper to control heat level. Best served immediately but can be made ahead and reheated.
