This Cajun Seafood Boil with Garlic Butter Sauce is a bold, buttery, and beginner-friendly dinner that brings everyone together around the table.


Ingredients

  • 2 lb shrimp (shell-on)
  • 2 lb snow crab legs
  • 1 lb mussels or clams
  • 12 oz beef or turkey sausage
  • 1.5 lb baby potatoes
  • 4 ears corn, halved
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • Water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water, Cajun seasoning, lemon, and garlic. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add potatoes and sausage. Cook 10 minutes.
  3. Add corn and crab. Cook 5 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and shellfish. Cook 3–4 minutes until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Melt butter with garlic and seasoning.
  6. Drain seafood, toss with garlic butter sauce, and serve warm.
