Description

Indulgent caramel crush bars with a crunchy base, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the flour, oats, crushed graham crackers, salt, and vanilla extract.
  4. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the pressed base.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the caramel.
  7. Take the remaining crumb mixture and sprinkle it over the chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For healthier options, use whole-wheat flour or natural sweeteners. Nuts can be added for extra crunch.
