Description
This chamomile lavender sleep tonic is a soothing nighttime drink made with simple, calming herbs, warm milk, and a touch of sweetness. It brings a gentle, cozy flavor that helps support relaxation and makes bedtime feel calmer and more comforting.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp dried chamomile flowers (or 1 chamomile tea bag)
- 1 tsp dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup warm milk (regular or dairy-free)
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Add chamomile and lavender to a mug or heat-safe bowl. Pour hot water over the herbs and steep for 5–7 minutes.
- Warm the milk in a saucepan or microwave until cozy but not boiling.
- Strain the steeped herbs and pour the herbal liquid into the warm milk.
- Stir in honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Serve warm and enjoy the calming flavor before bed.
Notes
- For a stronger floral flavor,steep the herbs a little longer. For a creamier version, add more milk or choose oat milk.
