  • 1 pack (12 rolls) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 810 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • ½ cup finely diced onion (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Pickle slices (optional)
  • 23 tablespoons ketchup (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
  3. Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom layer in a baking dish.
  4. Layer cooked beef and cheese over the rolls; add optional pickles, ketchup, or mustard.
  5. Place top layer of rolls, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
