Description
Delicious Chicken Caesar sandwiches combine rich Caesar dressing, tender chicken, and crunchy romaine, all between slices of crusty bread.

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or sliced
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- ½ cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 slices of crusty bread
- Optional: ¼ cup bacon alternatives, cooked and crumbled
- Optional: sliced tomatoes
Instructions
- Start by preheating a skillet over medium heat. If using fresh chicken, season it with salt and pepper, and grill or sauté until cooked through. If using rotisserie chicken, skip this step.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, shredded chicken, and Caesar dressing. Toss until coated.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the mixture and mix well.
- If including bacon alternatives or sliced tomatoes, fold them into the mixture.
- Spread the chicken Caesar mixture over two slices of bread. Top with the remaining slices to complete the sandwiches.
- Toast the sandwiches in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
For a lighter option, use low-fat dressing or lettuce wraps. Store leftovers separately for best results.
