Chili Crisp Greek Yogurt Dip

Description

Creamy chili crisp Greek yogurt dip that’s flavorful, wholesome, and perfect with nachos or chips. A great appetizer for parties, Friday night snacks, or even a Super Bowl game-day spread.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Peanut Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon coriander stems, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder coarsely ground
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt plus more to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt full fat

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine salt, red chilli, spring onions, cilantro leaves, coriander stems, toasted peanuts.
  2. Now, heat the oil in a pan over high heat till smoking hot.
  3. Once done, pour the hot oil over ingredients in the bowl.
  4. When you pour hot oil over ingredients it will cook all the ingredients.
  5. Mix everything and leave it for a few minutes to infuse the flavour. It will develop the flavour and a beautiful red hue.
  6. Swirl the yogurt into a shallow dish, then season generously with salt.
  7. Now drizzle part of the oil mixture on top, or all of it.
  8. Serve this flavourful dip with your choice of chips.

Notes

Recipe notes Do not pour hot oil over cold yoghurt. Allow the chilli oil to cool slightly before pouring over yoghurt. Pro Tip – if you’re planning to have a night full of fun and games with friends and fam, Make the chilli oil in advance and when you are ready spread oil onto a plate and pour the chilli oil.
