A quick and easy homemade stir-fry with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a savory sauce perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1–2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp cornstarch for a few minutes.
- Heat 1–2 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet or wok; cook chicken 3–4 minutes until browned, then remove.
- Add broccoli with a splash of water; cover 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Return chicken.
- Mix chicken broth, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar; pour into skillet. Stir and simmer 1–2 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Drizzle sesame oil, serve over rice or noodles, and enjoy.
Tips:
- Don’t overcrowd the pan; adjust broccoli texture; add extra veggies or sauces as desired.
