Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chunks or chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Scoop dough into 1.5-inch balls, add chocolate chunks, and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
  4. Bake 10–12 minutes until tops are set but centers remain soft. Cool 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack. Serve warm.
