- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chocolate chunks or chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- Scoop dough into 1.5-inch balls, add chocolate chunks, and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until tops are set but centers remain soft. Cool 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack. Serve warm.
