Description
A delightful blend of chocolate and peanut butter in a creamy pie, perfect for dessert lovers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: Additional chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, whipped cream, chocolate ganache
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
- Press this mixture into a 9-inch pie pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Bake for about 10 minutes or until it’s lightly golden. Set it aside to cool completely.
- Beat together the creamy peanut butter and softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy and uniform.
- Fold in the whipped cream until well combined. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the filling into your cooled pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Optionally, sprinkle with more chocolate chips or crushed nuts.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap or foil, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers. You can substitute almond butter for peanut butter, and Greek yogurt can work in place of cream cheese for a lighter option.
