This Cottage Cheese Pasta Sauce is creamy, protein-packed, and easy to make. Perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or a lighter alternative to traditional creamy sauces.

- 1 ½ cups cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup milk or pasta water
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- Optional: ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prepare garlic, Parmesan, and optional vegetables. Drain cottage cheese.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic, stir in cottage cheese and milk, whisk until smooth, add Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Toss cooked pasta in sauce until evenly coated. Serve hot with optional toppings.
Notes
- Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently with a splash of milk to restore creaminess.
