  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining slowly.
  6. Fold in the dried cranberries and nuts (if using).
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute butter with plant-based butter and the egg with a flax egg.
