- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp cornstarch or panko breadcrumbs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2–3 cups vegetable oil for frying
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce
- Optional: 1 tsp soy sauce or fish sauce
Instructions
- Mix shrimp, garlic, green onions, salt, pepper, and cornstarch/panko. Shape into balls.
- Coat balls in flour, then dip in beaten eggs.
- Heat oil and fry balls until golden brown. Drain excess oil.
- Serve with sweet chili sauce, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds.
Notes
- Chill balls before frying to prevent falling apart. Can bake instead of fry for healthier option.
