Description

Golden, crunchy shrimp balls paired with sweet chili sauce. Perfect appetizer, snack, or party treat. Easy to make at home using simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch or panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 23 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • Optional: 1 tsp soy sauce or fish sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix shrimp, garlic, green onions, salt, pepper, and cornstarch/panko. Shape into balls.
  2. Coat balls in flour, then dip in beaten eggs.
  3. Heat oil and fry balls until golden brown. Drain excess oil.
  4. Serve with sweet chili sauce, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Chill balls before frying to prevent falling apart. Can bake instead of fry for healthier option.
