- 12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 slices chicken bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken, onion, bell peppers, garlic, olive oil, and seasonings in the crock pot.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream; sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Cook on low for 4–6 hours.
- Add pasta during the last 30 minutes of cooking, stirring gently. Fold in chopped chicken bacon, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
Notes
- Add more Cajun seasoning for extra heat.
- For lighter sauce, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
