Description

Tender, juicy chicken wings slow-cooked in buttery buffalo sauce and finished under the broiler for a slightly crisp, flavorful bite. Perfect for family dinners, game days, or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 2 to 2.5 lbs chicken wings (flats and drums)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken broth or water
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing, celery, and carrot sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat wings dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Grease slow cooker lightly, layer wings, pour buffalo sauce over top, and add a splash of broth.
  3. Cook on LOW for 4.5–5 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours.
  4. Transfer wings to a baking sheet, brush with sauce, and broil 4–6 minutes until edges brown.
  5. Serve immediately with dips and veggie sticks.

Notes

  • Adjust spice by adding more butter (mild) or cayenne (spicy).
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
