- 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- 1. Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
- 2. Cut steak into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- 3. Melt half of the butter and mix with minced garlic in a microwave-safe bowl.
- 4. Place seasoned steak cubes in the crockpot in an even layer.
- 5. Pour garlic butter mixture, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce over the steak.
- 6. Sprinkle thyme and rosemary evenly over the top. Stir gently to coat.
- 7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- 8. During the final 30 minutes, add remaining butter cut into small pieces.
- 9. Once steak is fork-tender and sauce has thickened slightly, garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on stovetop over medium-low heat. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a complete meal.
