Description

Tender, juicy steak bites slow-cooked in rich garlic butter sauce. This effortless crockpot recipe delivers restaurant-quality flavor with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1. Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. 2. Cut steak into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Melt half of the butter and mix with minced garlic in a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. 4. Place seasoned steak cubes in the crockpot in an even layer.
  5. 5. Pour garlic butter mixture, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce over the steak.
  6. 6. Sprinkle thyme and rosemary evenly over the top. Stir gently to coat.
  7. 7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  8. 8. During the final 30 minutes, add remaining butter cut into small pieces.
  9. 9. Once steak is fork-tender and sauce has thickened slightly, garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on stovetop over medium-low heat. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a complete meal.
