Description

Rich, fudgy chocolate brownies filled with fresh strawberries and finished with a smooth chocolate drizzle. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, birthdays, or anytime you want a show-stopping homemade dessert.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 oz for batter, 2 oz for topping)
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Optional chocolate drizzle: 2 oz melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine melted butter and 6 oz chocolate chips until smooth. Mix in sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the pan, layer strawberries, and cover with remaining batter.
  5. Bake 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  6. Drizzle remaining chocolate on top and chill 30 minutes before slicing.
