- 12 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
- 2–3 drops green food coloring (optional)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped chives or parsley
- 12 cherry tomatoes or small bell pepper pieces (for toppers)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan or shredded white cheddar
- ¼ tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Halve eggs lengthwise and trim bottoms if needed to stand upright.
- Mash yolks in a bowl, mix in mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and optional green coloring.
- Pipe filling into egg whites in a pointed zigzag pattern to form tree shapes.
- Top with cherry tomatoes, bell pepper pieces, or parsley; sprinkle Parmesan or cheddar for “snow.”
- Arrange on a platter and serve chilled.
