- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (approximately 2 lemons)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that every piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the Chicken: Once marinated, remove the chicken breasts from the refrigerator. Place them in a baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over the top.
- Bake the Chicken: Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let it Rest: Once done, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Slice the chicken and arrange it on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley.
