- 6 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Wooden sticks
- Optional toppings: nuts, sprinkles, crushed cookies
Instructions
- Wash and dry apples thoroughly; insert wooden sticks.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and combine with brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir over medium heat until smooth and slightly bubbling.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Dip apples into caramel, let excess drip, and add toppings.
- Place apples on parchment and let set 15–30 minutes before serving.
