These Easy Rotel Sausage Balls are cheesy, zesty, and perfect for parties, game days, or cozy family snacks. Made with simple pantry ingredients and a hint of spice, they’re quick to prepare and sure to be a crowd favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken or turkey sausage, crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix crumbled sausage, cheese, Rotel (with juice), garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, form mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
  5. Let cool 5 minutes before serving. Serve with dipping sauces if desired.
    Optional Add-Ins: Jalapeños, extra cheese, fresh herbs
    Serving Suggestions: Party platter, mini sliders, or with dipping sauces
    Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 4 days; freeze up to 2 months. Reheat in oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
