Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oïl

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet, cook the ground meat until browned, remove, and set aside. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Return meat to skillet, add soy sauce and sesame oil, then toss in cabbage and carrots. Cook until slightly softened.
