Garlic Butter Chicken

Description

Tender chicken cooked in rich garlic butter with herbs, perfect for easy weeknight dinners or family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 46 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear in olive oil until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  2. Melt butter, add garlic, herbs, and lemon juice. Stir for 30–60 seconds.
  3. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over chicken, cook 2–3 more minutes. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for extra juiciness.
  • Garlic butter sauce can be prepared ahead and combined with freshly cooked chicken before serving.
