Tender chicken cooked in rich garlic butter with herbs, perfect for easy weeknight dinners or family meals.

- 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4–6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and sear in olive oil until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
- Melt butter, add garlic, herbs, and lemon juice. Stir for 30–60 seconds.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over chicken, cook 2–3 more minutes. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for extra juiciness.
- Garlic butter sauce can be prepared ahead and combined with freshly cooked chicken before serving.
