Description

Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta is quick, flavorful, and comforting. Tender shrimp are sautéed in garlic butter and tossed with perfectly cooked pasta for an easy, restaurant-quality meal at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp.
  3. Melt remaining butter in skillet, add pasta water and lemon juice, return shrimp, toss with pasta, sprinkle parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For creamy variation, stir in ¼–½ cup heavy cream at the end.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
