Description
Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta is quick, flavorful, and comforting. Tender shrimp are sautéed in garlic butter and tossed with perfectly cooked pasta for an easy, restaurant-quality meal at home.

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp.
- Melt remaining butter in skillet, add pasta water and lemon juice, return shrimp, toss with pasta, sprinkle parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For creamy variation, stir in ¼–½ cup heavy cream at the end.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
