Description

Soft, buttery heart-shaped cookies filled with sweet fruity jam. Perfect for family baking, holidays, or afternoon snacks.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup jam (strawberry, raspberry, apricot)
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugars, add egg and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until dough forms.
  2. Roll dough, cut heart shapes, and cut a smaller heart in half the cookies.
  3. Fill solid cookies with jam, top with cut-out cookies, seal edges, bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
