Description

Soft, chewy, and adorable heart-shaped chocolate chip cookies perfect for holidays, gifts, or cozy treats at home.


Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Optional: powdered sugar, sprinkles, or melted chocolate for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
  5. Chill dough 30–60 minutes.
  6. Roll dough and cut into heart shapes.
  7. Bake 12–14 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool, decorate as desired, and serve.
