- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in heavy cream and heat until warm. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper. Adjust consistency with a splash of cream if needed. Serve immediately over pasta.
