Ingredients

  • 1 cup cayenne-based hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter over low heat in a medium saucepan.
  2. Gradually whisk in hot sauce until smooth.
  3. Stir in vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and optional honey or cayenne.
  4. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until warm and glossy.
  5. Toss with cooked chicken wings or use as a dipping sauce.
