Description
A creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced burger sauce that’s ready in 5 minutes with simple pantry ingredients. Better than any store-bought version.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard.
- 2. Drain excess liquid from the sweet pickle relish and add it to the bowl.
- 3. Add the white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 4. Whisk vigorously for 30 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and uniform in color.
- 5. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- 6. Stir well before using and enjoy on burgers, sandwiches, or as a dipping sauce.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For a spicier version, add hot sauce or cayenne pepper. For a tangier sauce, increase vinegar or use dill pickle relish instead of sweet.
