  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
  • Optional: sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the marinade by whisking together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, ground ginger, black pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Marinate the drumsticks in a zip-top bag or bowl with the marinade for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Arrange the marinated drumsticks in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake the drumsticks for about 40 minutes, basting halfway through.
  6. Check the internal temperature of the drumsticks with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
