  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

Sweet, tangy, and irresistibly delicious slow cooker meatballs glazed in honey BBQ sauce. Perfect for parties, game day, or easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds frozen meatballs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. 2. Place frozen meatballs directly into the crockpot, spreading them evenly.
  3. 3. In a medium bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. 4. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs, tossing gently to coat evenly.
  5. 5. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Once cooked, switch to warm setting if serving as an appetizer, or serve immediately over rice or noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. These meatballs freeze well for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on stovetop or in microwave. For thicker sauce, remove lid during last 30 minutes of cooking.
