Description

A quick, sweet-savory shrimp stir fry with crisp vegetables in a sticky honey garlic sauce. Perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb peeled, deveined shrimp
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper. Sear in 1 tbsp oil 2–3 min per side until pink, then remove.
  2. In same skillet, stir-fry vegetables in remaining oil 3–4 min. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour over vegetables. Add cornstarch slurry and cook 1–2 min until thickened.
  3. Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat in sauce. Heat 1–2 min, garnish with green onions, and serve over rice or noodles.
