Ingredients

Scale

Shrimp:

  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic for 30–60 seconds.

  5. Pour sauce over shrimp, simmer 1–2 minutes until thickened. Toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
