Shrimp:
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)
Garnish:
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic for 30–60 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Pour sauce over shrimp, simmer 1–2 minutes until thickened. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
