- 2–3 fresh jalapenos, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley or cilantro
Instructions
- Mix jalapenos, garlic, olive oil, paprika, cumin, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the marinade. Coat chicken and refrigerate 20–30 minutes.
- Preheat skillet or grill pan. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest 5 minutes, slice, garnish with parsley or cilantro, and serve.
