Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
  • 23 fresh jalapenos, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or cilantro

Instructions

  1. Mix jalapenos, garlic, olive oil, paprika, cumin, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the marinade. Coat chicken and refrigerate 20–30 minutes.
  2. Preheat skillet or grill pan. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
