Description

A delicious and satisfying low-carb wrap packed with flavor, perfect for a quick meal any time of the day.


Ingredients

  • 1 large low-carb tortilla or keto-friendly wrap
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or cooking spray)
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or chicken (or meat alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1/2 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • Jalapeños, sliced (optional)
  • Avocado or guacamole (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. If using cooking spray, spray the skillet generously. Once hot, add the ground beef or chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in taco seasoning.
  2. Lay your low-carb tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, layer the cooked meat mixture, then top with shredded cheese, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños if using.
  3. Spread a layer of sour cream over the ingredients, then add a few slices of avocado or guacamole.
  4. Carefully fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center, creating a pentagon or hexagon shape.
  5. Place the folded wrap seam-side down in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until crisp.
  6. Remove the wrap from the skillet, let it cool for a minute, then slice it in half to reveal the fillings.

Feel free to customize with different fillings and toppings to suit your dietary preferences. Make sure not to overfill your wraps for easier folding.
