Description

These Knock You Naked Bars are rich dessert bars made with soft cookie layers, melted chocolate, and a gooey caramel center. They’re easy to make, beginner-friendly, and perfect for parties, family nights, or anytime you want a comforting homemade treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups caramel bits or soft caramels
  • ¼ cup milk (for melting caramel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix in dry ingredients until combined, then fold in half the chocolate chips.
  4. Press half the dough into the pan and bake 10 minutes.
  5. Melt caramel with milk over low heat until smooth.
  6. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over baked base, pour caramel evenly, and top with remaining dough.
  7. Bake 18–22 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake and allow full cooling before cutting.
