These Knock You Naked Bars are rich dessert bars made with soft cookie layers, melted chocolate, and a gooey caramel center. They’re easy to make, beginner-friendly, and perfect for parties, family nights, or anytime you want a comforting homemade treat.

- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups caramel bits or soft caramels
- ¼ cup milk (for melting caramel)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients until combined, then fold in half the chocolate chips.
- Press half the dough into the pan and bake 10 minutes.
- Melt caramel with milk over low heat until smooth.
- Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over baked base, pour caramel evenly, and top with remaining dough.
- Bake 18–22 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- For extra gooey bars, slightly underbake and allow full cooling before cutting.
