Description

Sweet, sticky, and spicy, these Mango Habanero Chicken Wings are easy to make and perfect for parties, game nights, or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup diced ripe mango
  • 1 small habanero pepper, minced (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
  • Optional garnish: cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Make the Mango Habanero Sauce :Blend mango, habanero, garlic, honey, lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth. Simmer 5–7 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Cook the Wings : Preheat oven to 400°F or air fryer. Cook wings 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until internal temp reaches 165°F.
  3. Coat Wings with Sauce :Toss wings in the warm mango habanero sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately with garnish if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days
  • Freeze wings up to 2 months; thaw and reheat before serving
