Description

Delicious mini grilled cheese sliders made with sweet Hawaiian rolls and gooey melted cheese, perfect for snacks or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without fully separating them.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. If using, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, dried parsley, and onion powder in a small bowl.
  5. Brush this mixture evenly over the cut sides of the top halves of the rolls.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Let them cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual servings.

Notes

These rolls can be tailored with different cheeses, plant-based butter, and various herbs. Perfect pairing with tomato soup or salad.
