Description

A quick and savory Mushroom Frittata made with eggs, sautéed mushrooms, and melty cheese. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup diced onion (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté mushrooms (and onions if using) in olive oil/butter until soft and lightly browned. Whisk eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Pour eggs over mushrooms in skillet. Cook on low heat for 8–10 minutes until edges are set. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover until set.
  3. Optional: Broil 1–2 minutes to brown top. Slice and serve hot or warm.
