Golden, caramelized mustard Hasselback kielbasa bites that are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, perfect for snacks, appetizers, or family gatherings

- 1 lb beef, chicken, or turkey kielbasa, sliced Hasselback-style
- 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp vegetable oil or melted butter (optional for crispiness)
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the kielbasa thinly Hasselback-style, making 1/4-inch cuts without slicing all the way through.
- In a small bowl, mix Dijon mustard, honey or maple syrup, garlic powder, and black pepper to create the glaze.
- Brush the mustard glaze generously into each slice and over the top of the kielbasa.
- Optional: Sprinkle smoked paprika over the bites for extra flavor.
- Bake for 20 minutes, rotating the baking sheet halfway through, until edges are golden brown and the glaze has caramelized.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm with optional dipping sauces.
