Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Icing Ingredients:

 

  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Mix dry ingredients separately and combine with wet mixture.
  3. Fold in oats and scoop dough onto lined baking sheets.
